헤드비갤러리는 한 해의 끝과 새로운 시작이 교차하는 시점에, 관람객에게 마음을 전하는 연말전 《To : You》을 개최한다. 전시의 제목이자 메시지인 "To : You"는 누군가에게 직접 건네는 편지처럼, 혹은 선물처럼 따뜻하고 다정한 인사를 담고 있다. 이 전시는 작품을 통해 '전하고 싶은 마음'을 건네며, 예술이 지닌 감정의 매개로서의 힘을 다시금 느끼게 한다.

예술은 종종 말로 표현하기 어려운 감정을 담는 그릇이 된다. 《To : You》에 참여한 작가들의 작업은 삶의 단면을 섬세하게 포착하고, 깊은 울림을 전한다. 

섬세한 표현의 Stefan Bircheneder, 감각적인 깊이를 지닌 Gerd Kanz, 색의 교차를 통해 다층적인 시선을 제시하는 문보리, 따스한 감성을 담은 강지연, 유쾌한 시선의 홍승태, 구조적 조형미를 보여주는 강동현, 감성적 설치로 기억을 환기하는 배수영이 함께한다.

다양한 매체와 감성들이 조화를 이루며 하나의 메시지를 전달한다. “이 마음을 당신에게 전합니다”

작품은 마음으로 읽고 느끼는 ‘작은 선물’이 된다. 연말이라는 특별한 시기를 맞아, 《To : You》가 전하는 감정의 온기를 통해 예술이 우리 일상에 얼마나 가까이 다가올 수 있는지를 느끼기를 바란다.

Hedwig holds the year-end exhibition To : You at a time when the end of the year and the beginning of a new one intersect. The title and message, To : You, carries a warm and affectionate greeting, like a letter or a gift handed directly to someone. This exhibition delivers the "feelings we want to convey" through artworks, allowing us to once again feel the power of art as a medium of emotion.

Art often becomes a vessel for emotions that are difficult to express in words. The works of the artists participating in To : You delicately capture fragments of life and deliver a deep resonance.

Stefan Bircheneder, with delicate expression; Gerd Kanz, with sensory depth; Moon Bori, who presents layered perspectives through the intersection of color;
Kang Jiyoun, who conveys warm sentiment; Hong Seungtae, with a playful perspective; Kang Donghyun, who shows structural sculptural beauty; and Bae Sooyoung, who evokes memories through emotional installations all come together.

Diverse mediums and emotions harmonize to deliver a single message: "This feeling, I send to you."

The artworks become ‘small gifts’ that are read and felt with the heart. As we welcome this special time of year, we hope that To : You, through the warmth of its emotions, allows you to feel just how closely art can reach into our everyday lives.
