헤드비갤러리는 지난 일년간 여덟 명의 작가를 소개하였다. 신인작가부터 활발히 활동을 하는 작가, 그리고 2차원의 회화부터 3차원의 설치 작품까지 다양한 장르로 구성한 헤드비갤러리의 전시는 장르간 융합이 활발하고 재료와 표현 방법의 경계가 넓어진 현대미술의 현장을 잘 보여주었다는 평가를 받는다. 대중에게 낯설 수 있는 장르의 작품을 소개한 것은 헤드비갤러리를 오가는 관객과 주민의 미적 감응력이 그만큼 높았기에 가능한 일이었다. 한 해 동안 많은 이들이 보내온 사랑에 답하고자 2022년의 첫 기획전시로 2021년을 헤드비갤러리와 함께 한 작가, 그리고 2022년에 함께 할 작가를 한자리에 모았다.

‘잇다 2021-2022’ 전시로 지난 한 해를 함께한 작가 김순철, 배수영, 최지윤, Zoey를 재조명하고 새해에 소개하고자 하는 작가 강지연, 손정기, 이해나의 작품을 함께 전시하여 헤드비갤러리가 2022년 나아갈 방향을 보여주고자 한다. 본 전시를 보는 관객에게는 지난해 아쉽게 지나친 전시의 작품을 다시 접하고 새로운 작가를 만날 수 있는 기쁨의 자리이길 바란다.

　hedwig-gallery Gallery, opened in Unjung-dong, Pangyo in May 2021, have planned and managed five exhibitions until December to introduce eight rising artists. The exhibition of hedwig-gallery Gallery, which ranges from new artists to actively working artists, and two-dimensional paintings to three-dimensional installations, is said to have shown the scene of modern art with active convergence between genres and wider boundaries between materials and expression methods. Introducing works of a genre that may be unfamiliar to the public was possible because of the aesthetic sensitivity of the audience and residents who visited to hedwig-gallery Gallery. To answer the love that visitors have sent over the year, the first special exhibition in 2022 brought together artists who were with hedwig-gallery Gallery in 2021 and artists who will be with us in 2022.

　With the exhibition "Link 2021-2022," we will shed new light on the artists, Kim Soon-chul, Bae Soo-young, Choi Ji-yoon and Zoey, and display the works of newly introducing artists, Kang Ji-yeon, Son Jung-ki and Lee Hae-na, to show the direction of hedwig-gallery Gallery in 2022. For the audience viewing this exhibition, we hope the exhibition will be a place of joy to visit the works of the exhibition that were unfortunately missed last year or meet new artists.
