공동체는 우리 삶의 시작점이자, 여전히 많은 질문을 남기는 개념이다. 개인의 자유와 연결된 삶 사이의 긴장은 동시대를 살아가는 우리에게 익숙한 감정이 되었고, 그만큼 공동체는 단순한 사회적 구조를 넘어 정서적, 철학적 사유의 대상이 되었다. 《Commune: 공동체의 방향》은 이러한 고민에서 출발하여, 공동체를 구성하는 감정과 구조, 거리와 관계, 조화와 충돌의 순간들을 시각적으로 탐색하는 전시이다.

김보민 작가는 다양한 형태의 관계에서 파생되는 감정의 결을 섬세하게 포착하며, 그 내면의 움직임을 작업 안에 드러낸다.
다니엘 신 작가는 서로 다른 선들이 겹치고 어우러지는 구성을 통해, 우리가 살아가는 세상이 지닌 복합성과 연결의 의미를 시각화한다.
성다솜 작가는 색과 형태가 다양한 사물들을 조화롭게 배열하며, 공간 속에서 사물 간의 긴장과 균형, 공존의 가능성을 탐색한다.

《Commune: 공동체의 방향》은 사회를 구성하는 다층적인 관계성과 그 안에서 발생하는 감정, 구조, 조화를 다시 바라보게 한다. 공동체라는 말이 점점 추상화되어가는 시대에, 이 전시는 공동체를 다시 감각하고, 다시 사유하고, 다시 상상하는 예술적 실천이자 제안이 된다.

Community is both the starting point of our lives and a concept that continues to leave us with many unanswered questions. The tension between individual freedom and a connected life has become a familiar emotion for those of us living in the contemporary world. As such, community has evolved beyond a simple social structure to become an object of emotional and philosophical reflection. 《Commune: Directions of Community》 begins with these considerations and visually explores the emotions and structures, distances and relationships, harmonies and conflicts that compose a community.

Kim Bomin delicately captures the textures of emotion that emerge from various forms of relationships, revealing their inner movements within her work.

Daniel Shin visualizes the complexity and interconnectedness of the world we live in through compositions where diverse lines overlap and intertwine.

Sung Dasom arranges objects of varying colors and forms in harmony, exploring the tension, balance, and potential for coexistence among objects within space.

《Commune: Directions of Community》 invites us to reconsider the multilayered relationships, emotions, structures, and harmonies that form society. In an era where the word community is becoming increasingly abstract, this exhibition becomes an artistic practice and proposal—to sense, reflect on, and reimagine community once again.
