여기 가장 개인적인 이야기를 화면에 ‘중첩’하여 기록하는 작가 이내가 있다. 단순하게 보일지라도 작가는 하나의 화면을 구성하기 위해 긴 시간을 들여 물감 안료를 쌓아 올린다. 짧게는 몇 주, 길게는 몇 달이 걸리기도 하는 작업을 고수하는 이유는 중첩 해야만 표현할 수 있는 삶의 모습을 담기 위함이다. 작가는 무수한 물감의 중첩으로 그가 바라본 삶의 모습을 형상화 한다.

 

이내 작가는 기억, 시선, 경배 그리고 꽃으로 주제를 나누어 작업한다. 마음 한 켠에 남겨둔 기억의 조각으로 누군가는 삶을 지탱하기도 한다. 또렷하게 떠오르지 않아도 강한 향수로 남은 순간을 흩어진 조각으로 재현한 ‘기억’ 시리즈로 만날 수 있다. 단색의 화면에 여러 눈 형상이 돌출되어 있는 ‘시선’ 시리즈는 작가가 생각하는 현대인이 노출된 수많은 시선을 의미한다. ‘경배’ 시리즈는 작가가 붓을 잡게 된 소중한 계기와 연결되어 이내 작가의 작업 중심에 있다. 인간이 받는 숱한 유혹과 시련으로부터 평온을 찾기 위해 작가는 솔직한 자기 고백으로 내면을 돌아보았다. 자연스레 풀어나간 문제는 화면의 함축적 조형요소로 표현되고 보는 이에게 조용하지만 강한 위로를 전한다.

판교 운중천 주변으로 꽃이 만발하는 이 계절을 헤드비갤러리에서 이내 작가가 그려내는 금빛 물결과 함께 하자. 이내 작가의 신작을 만날 수 있는 ‘이내 금빛으로 물들다’ 전시로 관객은 각자가 쌓아온 아름다운 시간과 추억을 되새기고 다시 행복한 순간을 맞을 수 있을 것이다.

Here is an artist, INAE, who 'overlaps' the most personal story on the screen and records it. Although the artist’s works may seem simple, the artist takes a long time to build a single screen and piles up paint pigments. Such process takes as short as a few weeks and up to months to fill one canvas. INAE, the artist, explains that ‘overlap’ is the only way to capture a life. The artist embodies the life she looked at with countless overlapping paints. 

The artist divides the subject into memory, gaze, worship, and flowers. With a piece of memory left in one side of one's mind, someone leans life on it. The "Memory" series reproduces the scattered moments with strong nostalgia which does not come to mind clearly. The "Gaze" series, which has several eye shapes protruding from a monochrome screen, refers to the numerous eyes that the artist thinks of modern people are exposed. The "Worship" series is at the center of the artist's work, which connects to the precious opportunity for the artist to hold the brush and keep her paint. In order to find peace from the many temptations and trials that humans receive, the artist looked back inside with honest self-confession.

The problem solved is expressed as formative element in canvas and conveys quiet but strong comfort to the viewer.
